This two-day course is designed to give a better understanding of the role fluid contamination control plays in the overall success of a machine. Participants will learn the steps required to evaluate and interpret contamination levels, filtration performance, component contaminant sensitivity, and the aspects of system reliability.
The main objective of this course is to prepare the participants for the task of establishing an effective fluid contamination control program at their own organization and to improve the reliability and service life of their machine systems. A further objective is to introduce the participant to methods of assessing, rating and specifying components that are critical to the overall success of their machine systems and introduce contemporary terminology. The scope of the course covers all fluid dependent system components, applications, and environments.
This course was developed to meet the needs of all personnel responsible for the operational success of mechanical systems--both hydraulic and lubrication. The course is particularly designed for those who need definitive information on advanced techniques and concepts to reduce fluid contamination levels and to improve the contaminant tolerance of system components. The course content is especially valuable to those designing, manufacturing, selecting, procuring, operating, and maintaining machine fluid systems.
Hydraulic System Design for Service Assurance
Each attendee will receive a copy of the book entitled Hydraulic System Design for Service Assurance written by Dr. E. C. Fitch and Dr. I. T. Hong. In addition to the topic of fluid contamination control, the book covers fluids, reservoir design, heat, leakage, tribological wear, and many other topics. Packed with 692 pages of valuable information, the book applies to both hydraulic and lubrication systems. This book is a most important reference book for any technical person involved with fluid systems.
Over 350 Figures including Nomographs
More than 270 Equations
32 Practical Examples
The course materials are available for purchase for those who cannot attend the course on any of the scheduled dates. With the materials you will receive a coupon to attend a future course. Contact us and we will provide you with complete information.
The registration fee for the Contamination Control and System Service Assurance course is $995 per person or $895 per person for groups of three or more.
